Egglseston Burn
My new favorite river in the NE, an awesome run reminded me a lot of Guardian Angel in France for some reason, I guess mostly cause it is a gorge with continuous little rapids. This one isn't in any guidebooks but it is on UK Rivers

This was a bit low really, a real scrape at the top, but never totally impassable. The gorge section was really nice, some good slot and drop rapids. There was just one we didn't fancy and portaged round. Ran all the way down to the racecourse get out at Cotherstone which took ages, still fun though.
