    Etive

    The Etive, or the section I have run (Triple Falls to the Allt A'Chaorainn) is a series of drops which vary in difficulty and consequences by level. I have only run this river low and very low which I doubt does it justice. The guide as always is on Uk Rivers.

    A January in Scotland with the canoe club with summer water levels led us to the Etive, fun for everyone at this level with a distinct lack of power in any of the holes. Enjoyed by all there was lots of jumping in and general sillyness to be had.

  • April 2002

    Went for a low water paddle on the Etive during my Easter holidays, it was good fun especially 'right angle falls' the large drop at the end.
