Wnion
The river Wnion was not one I had heard of until I paddled it during my christmas holiday 2005. The main section of this river is a fast narrow gorge with drops, shoots and eddies galore. Fast and technical but with plenty of eddies this is a great run. Best described on the guide book.
There are a few issues with access on this river, we had no problems this time but a group hoping to paddle the next day was chased away

Having never heard of this river I had a quick read of the guidebook and headed out to meet up with the rest of the crowd. We stopped in a couple of laybys and had a look at the gorge section of the river, or what we could see of it. We got in at a bridge just upstream of a roadside egg retailer (well that is all I can remember) and headed off. I was feeling distinctly spaced, but got on with the job in hand. Nice grade 4 river, little drops with plenty of break outs, all scoutable, although I have to admit to not doing too much scouting myself. Apart from one stupid move falling in off a rock in an eddie it was all good fun. We got out in a car park in Dolgellau. Although past the bridge just after the gorge there is nothing of note.
